History of Clinton United Presbyterian Church
Clinton United Presbyterian Church had its beginnings in Clinton, Pennsylvania in 1797 when a dedicated group of men and women formed a congregation as an Associate Presbyterian church. Three years later the first church building made of logs stood near the center of the present-day cemetery. They called their first pastor that year as well. Clinton outgrew its space and a brick building was built between 1830-1833. Our current building was dedicated in 1924 and the education wing was completed in 1957. We became part of the Presbyterian Church (USA) in 1983. Clinton has had 21 pastors (Pastor Karen is 21) and has had as many as 350 members.
We are blessed with a wide diversity of ages, having a heart for young and old alike. Recently, Clinton has focused its ministry on children and families, opening a pre-school, running an after school care program, and a 6 week long summer camp.
Clinton United Presbyterian Church is proud of its heritage and the challenges and risks taken by congregational members of the past. We now anticipate the future together as we move forward.

We will have worship bags available in the back of the sanctuary for your children. These bags will have small activities to help occupy little ones during the worship service. Simply return the bags after the worship service is over. These bags are geared toward children ages Pre-k - 2nd grade.
